Sadly, Boots passed awa...Just read this post again. Sadly, Boots passed away about a year ago at the age of about 12. Her health was never strong despite her size. And I did manage to get her weight down to a more manageable 14 lbs eventually.<br />One afternoon, when I was very sick with pneumonia and dying on the sofa, she came up to me, mewed sweetly, and went to lay down on her favourite sunny spot on the balcony. When I awoke the next morning she had not come to mewl for her breakfast. I got up and went looking for her and there she was, still in her sunny spot. But not breathing. She had passed on to that catnip field in the sky.<br />I inherited a houseful of fleas I never knew she had, but that's another story. A year later, I still imagine I hear her gallumping down the stairs every time I open a can of salmon though.<br />I miss her.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12995418912384380656noreply@blogger.com
